In the information released by the Police Regional Office-Eastern Visayas, the suspects were identified as Arnold Paculted, 33, visitor; Panfilo Concilliado, 49, high-value individual and visitor; Jonathan Mindigo, 54, visitor; and an 18-year-old male who was a co-maintainer of the alleged drug den.
Joint operatives from Isabel Municipal Police Station Drug Enforcement Team, Leyte Police Provincial office (LPPO), and Philippine Drug Enforcement (PDEA)-Eastern Visayas confiscated during the were P68,000 worth of drugs with an estimated weight of 10 grams, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.
“This is an active approach in our campaign against illegal drugs. More police operations would mean that our intelligence gathering is strong,” said Colonel Edwin Balles, police provincial director.
The police official also acknowledged the tipsters “who have been actively cooperating” in the operations.
“I hope that this will serve as a warning for those involved in this illegal business that your Leyte police has beefed up our efforts to curtail the flow of these illegal substances,” Balles said. (SunStar Philippines)
