Filinvest Land, one of the country’s largest developers, inaugurated its first Precast and Concrete Batching Plant located inside its township development Ciudad de Calamba in Laguna. The developer has invested over P200 million in the plant which will be operated and managed by its full-cycle construction subsidiary Dreambuilders Pro.

“The addition of concrete batching into the portfolio of our construction arm Dreambuilders Pro will allow us to strengthen our product delivery ability and enhance our expertise in serving the growing housing demand in the Philippines. We are proud to build our first Concrete Batching Plant here in Laguna and help create jobs for its citizens,” said Tristan Las Marias, President of Filinvest Land.

Filinvest Land’s new Precast and Concrete Batching Plant has a total capacity of up to 60 cubic meters per hour or a total of 90,000 cubic meters a year. The plant generated over 300 new jobs. This state-of-the-art plant is designed to be eco-friendly by recycling wastes and virtually producing no noise, air, debris, and water pollution.

The inauguration of the plant was celebrated with a ceremonial ribbon cutting and the first pouring ceremonies attended by Calamba City Mayor Ross Rizal, Filinvest Land President Tristan Las Marias, Filinvest Development Corporation President Josephine Gotianun Yap, Sharepro President Cherie Fernandez, and Dreambuilders Pro President Arnulfo Delos Reyes.

“We congratulate Filinvest Land on this momentous occasion. Filinvest Land has always been a steadfast partner of Calamba City. Their residential and industrial developments here in the beautiful Ciudad de Calamba bring progress to our city. With the recent addition of this innovative Precast and Concrete Batching Plant, we look forward to seeing more developments. We hope in continuing and furthering the good relationship with Filinvest for the betterment of Calamba City,” said Mayor Rizal.

“With our strategic location in Calamba, the plant is able to provide stable concrete mix supply to Filinvest Land’s developments not just within Laguna but in Cavite, Bulacan, Batangas, and Metro Manila as well. We look forward to growing our concrete batching portfolio and eventually expanding to other areas across the country,” added Las Marias.
